the japanese are at it again?with the recent development of self-ballasted metal halide spots, a few manufacturers have made them in a higher kelvin (10 & 14K) for reef applications. these would be great for supplementing individual colonies on large tanks or core lighting for nanos. the clip system makes it easy to use and as plug and play as metal halide lighting can get. the image below shows a smaller 24w 10K MH.
